Inspired by the urgency of a 10-day filmmaking challenge, "Man in the Middle" emerged from a whirlwind of brainstorming sessions and script revisions. With a modest budget of around $300, the team relied on ingenuity, repurposing props and costumes from previous projects to bring their vision to life.

The narrative's genesis reflects the collaborative efforts of Venecia and Valdez, who navigated through various story concepts before settling on the pulse-pounding tale of an anxious informant racing against time. Drawing from Valdez's background as a programmer, the storyline adds an authentic touch to the suspense-filled drama.

Behind the camera, the technical expertise of the team shines through, with Valdez's programming skills showcased in the film's final shot. Valdez programmed the terminal script, ensuring that every detail contributed to an immersive experience, demonstrating his invaluable contribution to the project's success.

Throughout the production journey, the team encountered challenges and constraints, including incorporating glitter as a prop and seamlessly integrating specific lines of dialogue into the script. However, these limitations sparked creativity, pushing the team to explore innovative solutions.
